Discover the quiet beauty of Massachusetts with this watercolor-inspired Mayflower ornament from our American Flower Collection. Nestled along a peaceful woodland trail beneath towering evergreens, the delicate Mayflower (Epigaea repens) blooms where few ever think to look—making this ornament a tribute not only to the state's official flower, but to the serene forests it calls home.
Adopted as the official state flower in 1918, the Mayflower has long symbolized hope, resilience, and new beginnings. Its soft pink-and-white blossoms emerge in the cool days of early spring, thriving in the protected forests of New England where patient hikers are sometimes rewarded with the rare sight of these beautiful blooms.
Whether you're a Massachusetts native, a lover of New England, an avid hiker, or simply someone who appreciates the quiet beauty of nature, this ornament captures the spirit of the Bay State in a timeless keepsake.
