The Ghost of Christmas Past | A Christmas Carol Ornament

Before Scrooge can change his future, he must remember his past.

Guided by the luminous Ghost of Christmas Past, Ebenezer Scrooge returns to a quiet schoolroom and encounters the lonely child he once was. While others have gone home for Christmas, young Scrooge remains behind with only his books for company—a tender memory that begins to awaken something long buried within him.

The Ghost of Christmas Past captures this poignant chapter from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol in a richly detailed, Victorian-inspired scene. The spirit’s warm golden light illuminates Scrooge’s memories against the cold winter evening beyond the schoolroom window, marking the beginning of his extraordinary transformation.

This double-sided ceramic ornament is part of the A Christmas Carol Collection, a ten-piece story collection from Wischmann Ornament Co. Each ornament captures a different chapter in Scrooge’s journey through memory, compassion, fear, and ultimately redemption.
